What I’ve Seen

For several years following grad school I kept a meticulous journal in which I tracked the films I’d seen.  I stopped doing this in 2015, but I’ve decided to begin again.  Why?  I think documenting my intellectual journey is useful in a variety of ways, not the least of which is discovering any patterns in my viewing habits, or noticing different interpretations/observations upon subsequent viewing.  I also think we can all probably agree that writing about what you’re reading and watching can deepen your engagement with and enrichment from the respective books and films.  So, here goes…
